I’ve previously mentioned my love of the new Kraft dressings before, but I found a new flavor that is wonderful! Light Parmesan Asiago Balsamic Vinaigrette. Long name, freakin’ awesome taste.
Here are some other things I’m loving this week:
- Pea Greens – recommended to us at the Farmers Market on Saturday, these little greens are delicious and only around for a few weeks. They are the new growth of a pea plant, so after a few weeks they are gone. Check your farmers market or fancy grocery store.
- Fresh Produce – all my other fresh produce from the farmers market like corn on the cob, kale (new recipe I’m trying tonight), white sweet potatoes (I haven’t tried these yet), tomatoes and red potatoes.
- New Pottery Birdhouse – I got this most adorable pottery birdhouse (it’s too small for an actual bird) from the pottery show on Sunday and I love it. It is made by handicapped people at the Lifespan Enrichment Center. It has little flowers and a bluebird on it. So sweet hanging near my steps.
- Sunday School – We are doing this great new study on the minor epistles and it is very thought provoking. I love the epistles of the bible because they give great instruction and encouragement for us.
- Plants/Flowers – The emerging tops of the plants and flowers in my yard has put an extra spring in my step.
- Chris & Chris – I’ve finally turned my radio back on and I’ve been listening to Chris and Chris in the mornings. I think I’ve finally gotten over losing Bob and Sheri, who were my favorite morning show peeps until 98.7 became too cool for school (Simon).
- My Easter Eggs – I dyed some Easter eggs this weekend and they are cute. I learned a new trick that if you rub a little vegetable oil on after they dry, they look shiny!
MMMMM kale. what recipe are you trying?

It is just sauteed kale with onions and garlic, but this is my first kale attempt. Last time I bought kale, I let it rot in the fridge.
Your dinner sound yumm-o!

Speaking of “emerging tops” from plants, all of the seeds from Will’s tomato plant have sprouted! Pray that they will continue to grow and be strong so we can all have “Will” tomatoes this summer!
